BIOGRAPHY:

Typhoid is a brutal death metal trio from Slovakia founded in 1994 with Jozef Flimel (bass and backing vocals), Roman Regina (guitar and vocals), and Jan “Duso” Mokry (drums). In March 1997, the band self-released a 6 track debut demo entitled 'Intestines Of Immortality.' Typhoid quickly built a reputation as one of the most talented and brutal bands from Slovakia and Czech republic.

Typhoid released their next album 'Ruptured Self Control' in January 2000 which included 7 technical and catchy songs. It was well received with great responses from all over the death metal scene. During this period Typhoid played many shows, also with Peter Karaba as a live vocalist, and the band also recruited close friend and extreme music supporter Rado “Goran”Bielak as the band manager.

During 2000-2001 the band wrote new songs and selected 3 of them for the next MCD, 'Deoxyribonucleic Accident,' along with 2 covers from Autopsy and Dying Fetus. After mastering by Broken Hope's founder Brian Griffin in Quali-Tone studios in Chicago, the album was released in the beginning of 2002. Typhoid toured extensively  in support of 'Deoxyribonucleic Accident'  along with multiple festivals appearances with bands such as Pungent Stench, Obscenity, Necrophagist, Malignancy, Vomit Remnants, Godless Truth, Ingrowing, Fleshless, Dead Infection, Hypnos, Natron and more.

In fall 2003, Rado Godal (ex-Synthetically Revived) was invited to the original lineup as a second guitarist. Soon after Typhoid released the 'All You Need Is Gore' 2005 promo  which was recorded in the band's home studio, TSL. In the Summer of 2007, a new album 'Disfigured by Blind Faith' was recorded and produced by Jozef in the TSL studio and was then released in 2008. Unfortunately soon after, Goran, the band's manager, died suddenly and unexpectedly, causing the band to go into a temporary hiatus.

A few years later, Roman and Jozef decided to change the band lineup, and Duso and Rado left Typhoid. The band recruited close friend and drum master Sead Bihorac (Mortally Infected) in the beginning of 2013. In 2016, Typhoid signed with Ultimate Massacre Productions and are now working on new material for their third full length album.
